Global Infrastructure Markets
The QH Series can be considered for municipal and smart-lighting projects in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Singapore, Australia and Spain. These countries are potential markets for project evaluation; the list does not mean that every QH configuration has been installed or approved in each market.
Final suitability depends on local road-lighting standards, solar conditions, temperature, dust or salt exposure, required cloudy/rainy-day backup and communication coverage. For a broader technical checklist, review the Key Parameters of Integrated Solar Street Lights before confirming the project specification.
For a related industrial-site reference, see the Saudi Aramco solar street light installation. This project uses the NM Series, so it should be treated as a related solar street-light reference rather than a completed QH Series project.
How to Configure Your Project
Before reviewing a QH project configuration, please provide the following information:
Road layout — road width, mounting height, pole spacing and lighting arrangement
Lighting targets — target illuminance, uniformity, nightly operating hours and dimming schedule
Site conditions — local solar resource, shading, temperature and required cloudy/rainy-day backup
Control requirements — Smart IoT monitoring, remote dimming, fault alerts and communication conditions
Based on these inputs, Sungreat Energy can match the confirmed QH configuration, including LED output, optical distribution, solar panel, LiFePO₄ battery and control functions. Where detailed roadway verification is required, the selected model and layout can be checked with the relevant IES file and DIALux calculation.
Integrated Solar Street Light IoT Smart Control QH Series 60W–250W Control Production Process
Production starts with the confirmed QH model and project configuration. The selected LED output, optical distribution, solar panel, LiFePO₄ battery, MPPT controller, lighting program and Smart IoT functions are matched before assembly.
The components are integrated into the aluminium housing, including the LED modules, internal wiring, battery system, controller and IoT components. The adjustable LED modules are checked for correct positioning, movement and locking within ±15°. The pull-out battery compartment, cable routing, connectors and sealing points are also reviewed during assembly.
After assembly, the unit goes through functional checks for solar charging, automatic ON/OFF, programmed dimming, lighting operation, controller response and the configured Smart IoT functions. The assembled unit also undergoes 48-hour aging and functional observation before packing.
The final inspection covers the selected model, lighting settings, adjustable LED modules, battery access, electrical connections, mounting accessories and order configuration.
For projects with lightning or surge requirements, the required protection device and installation scope should be confirmed in the tender or order documents before production.
Integrated Solar Street Light IoT Smart Control QH Series 60W–250W Control Overview & Details
The QH Series is an integrated solar street light designed for municipal roads, major roads and connected public-lighting projects. It combines LED lighting, LiFePO₄ battery storage, MPPT solar charging and Smart IoT control in one outdoor luminaire.
Available configurations provide approximately 10,800–55,000 lm with 180–220 lm/W lighting efficiency. The ±15° adjustable LED modules let the lighting direction be fine-tuned for different road widths, pole layouts, setbacks and curves. This helps improve roadway distribution and reduce dark zones, while the final result still depends on the selected optics, pole height, spacing and lighting design.
The pull-out battery compartment gives technicians access to the LiFePO₄ battery for inspection or replacement without removing the complete luminaire from the pole. For connected projects, Smart IoT control supports centralized monitoring, remote dimming, operating-status checks and fault alerts.
As a preliminary reference, the QH range can be considered for mounting heights of approximately 6–12 m and pole spacing of 20–40 m. These figures are starting points rather than fixed values for every model or site.
Before confirming the configuration, review:
- road width, pole height, spacing and layout
- target illuminance and uniformity
- nightly operating hours and dimming schedule
- local solar conditions and required cloudy/rainy-day backup
- LED output, optical distribution, solar panel, battery and IoT requirements
The selected model and optical layout can then be checked with the relevant IES file and DIALux calculation before the order is confirmed.
Integrated Solar Street Light IoT Smart Control QH Series 60W–250W Control Packaging & Delivery
QH Series solar street lights are packed with custom-molded shockproof foam and reinforced export cartons. This packing protects the adjustable LED modules, light housing and Smart IoT components from movement, impact and surface damage during handling and international transport.
Mounting accessories and project-related components are prepared according to the confirmed QH configuration. For municipal, EPC or mixed-model orders, cartons can include model marks, batch information and project labels to support warehouse checks, site distribution and installation.
For LCL or larger project shipments, pallets, wooden cases or moisture-resistant protection can be arranged according to the shipment method and order requirements. The final packing method follows the confirmed order scope and shipping conditions.
Order preparation and delivery are planned separately:
- Sample preparation: approximately 3–5 days
- Bulk QH project orders: approximately 12–18 days, depending on quantity, configuration and project scope
- Air freight reference: approximately 10–14 days
- Sea freight reference: approximately 30–45 days
The air and sea freight figures are planning references rather than fixed door-to-door delivery times. The final schedule also depends on the destination, flight or vessel schedule, port handling, customs clearance and inland delivery arrangements. Packing quantity, carton dimensions, gross weight, CBM and the final shipping method are confirmed against the completed order.
FAQ of Integrated Solar Street Light IoT Smart Control QH Series 60W–250W
The ±15° adjustment gives the installer some room to aim the light after the road and pole layout are confirmed. It can be fine-tuned for a wider or narrower road, a setback pole, a curve or different pole spacing, helping spread light more evenly across the roadway. The final angle still needs to be checked with the selected optical distribution and an IES/DIALux layout.
Yes, for initial fault identification. The Smart IoT configuration shows the status of connected lights on a centralized platform and sends fault alerts when abnormal operation is detected. The affected pole or project zone can be identified before the maintenance team goes to the site, so they do not have to start with a full pole-by-pole check.
If the communication link is temporarily unavailable, the local controller can continue its preset lighting schedule. A physical visit may still be required for inspection or repair.
Routine maintenance includes:
- checking the solar panel for dust or shading
- inspecting brackets, fasteners, cable connections and sealing points
- checking the battery, controller, LED modules and IoT function where fitted
The pull-out battery compartment allows a technician to access or replace the LiFePO₄ battery without removing the complete luminaire from the pole. This is useful for lights installed around 6–12 m high. Before ordering a replacement, confirm the QH model, nominal voltage, capacity, BMS and connector. The range uses both 12.8 V and 25.6 V battery systems.
It can be configured for 5–7 cloudy or rainy days, but this figure is not a universal guarantee for every site. Actual autonomy depends on the selected battery and solar panel, nightly operating hours, dimming schedule, local solar conditions, temperature, shading and the required battery reserve.
For example, the 100W model uses a 12.8V 45Ah battery with about 576Wh of nominal energy. Running at 100W for 12 hours would require about 1,200Wh before system losses. MPPT charging, programmed dimming and optional motion sensing help manage the available energy during periods of poor sunlight. Final backup time should be calculated from the approved project configuration.
Yes. The 60W–250W range can be matched to the actual road layout instead of using one fixed setup for every project. Selection normally considers road width, mounting height, pole spacing, target illuminance and uniformity, nightly operating hours, local solar conditions, required backup and the IoT control strategy.
The LED angle, optical distribution, solar panel, battery and lighting schedule can then be matched to these conditions. For tender documentation, the proposed layout can be checked with the relevant IES file and DIALux calculation.
Warranty: 5 years.
After-sales support can include fault diagnosis, configuration checks, replacement components and technical guidance, depending on the actual issue and the confirmed order configuration. For Smart IoT projects, operating-status data and fault alerts can help identify the lighting point that needs attention before a site visit. The final warranty scope, replacement procedure and support terms should be confirmed in the order or tender documents.
