Bringing together more than 30,000 energy professionals, the exhibition served as a key meeting point for renewable energy stakeholders, including installers, contractors, distributors, project developers, wholesalers, engineering companies, and government representatives. The strong attendance reflected the growing demand for clean, reliable, and cost-effective energy solutions across the Philippines and the wider region.
According to macro analysis by the International Energy Agency (IEA), Southeast Asia is undergoing one of the world’s fastest transitions toward decentralized infrastructure, with localized microgrids and solar integrations acting as the primary drivers of regional grid stability. Market analysis from Bloomberg Businessweek further supports this trend, noting that supply-chain localization and targeted energy storage investments are significantly mitigating traditional public infrastructure limits in island nations. In parallel, scientific reporting from Nature Portfolio emphasizes that improvements in high-durability lithium battery chemistry and intelligent LED controls are unlocking unmatched efficiency metrics for remote municipal installations.
1. Two Busy Days of Customer Engagement
From the moment the exhibition opened, our booth remained busy with visitors eager to learn more about Sungreat Energy’s solar solutions. Throughout the two-day event, our team held over 100 discussions with industry professionals from across the Philippines and neighboring markets.
Visitors showed strong interest in our solar street lights, solar flood lights, solar home systems, solar fans, lithium battery solutions, and other off-grid energy products. Many attendees took the opportunity to examine product quality firsthand, discuss technical specifications, and explore how our solutions could support their current and upcoming projects.
Among the visitors, installers and contractors represented the largest group, reflecting the growing number of solar lighting and electrification projects being implemented throughout the country. We also met project developers, distributors, wholesalers, and system integrators who are actively seeking reliable partners to support the expanding renewable energy market.
2. A Growing Solar Market with Strong Government Support
The strong interest we witnessed at the exhibition is closely linked to the rapid growth of the Philippine renewable energy sector.
The Philippines is widely recognized as one of the most promising solar markets in Southeast Asia. Under the National Renewable Energy Program (NREP) 2020–2040, the government has set ambitious targets to increase the share of renewable energy in the country’s power generation mix to 35% by 2030 and 50% by 2040.
At the same time, rising energy costs and growing concerns about energy security are accelerating the adoption of renewable energy solutions. As an archipelago consisting of more than 7,000 islands, the Philippines continues to face challenges in providing reliable and affordable electricity to remote communities and off-grid areas.
These factors are driving demand across multiple sectors. Commercial and industrial users are looking for ways to reduce operating costs, local governments are investing in sustainable infrastructure, and communities in remote regions are increasingly adopting off-grid solar solutions.

Another encouraging development was the significant interest from wholesalers and distributors looking to expand their solar product portfolios.
Many visitors approached our team to learn more about becoming Sungreat Energy distributors and to discuss opportunities for long-term cooperation. As demand for solar products continues to grow across the Philippines, local distributors recognize the importance of partnering with experienced manufacturers capable of providing high-quality products, reliable supply, and technical support.
The level of distributor interest further confirms the strong growth potential of the Philippine solar market and reinforces our commitment to expanding our local presence.
5. Strengthening Local Support with New Inventory
To better serve customers and partners throughout the Philippines, Sungreat Energy is continuing to strengthen its local operations.
New inventory of solar street lights, solar flood lights, and lithium battery products is expected to arrive at our Philippine warehouse by the end of June. This local stock will enable faster delivery times, improved product availability, and more responsive support for contractors, distributors, project developers, and end users.
By maintaining inventory closer to our customers, we aim to reduce lead times and help partners respond more efficiently to project requirements and market opportunities.
6. Customer Visits in Manila
Our journey did not end when the exhibition closed.
Before returning home, the Sungreat Energy team visited several customers in Manila to continue discussions and strengthen business relationships. These face-to-face meetings provided valuable insights into local market needs, upcoming project opportunities, and customer expectations.
